Growing a List of Good Things

Friday, September 16, 2011

Today marks three whole months of Rocky Mountain High Life. We’re getting the hang of things, but that settled-in feeling, that refined sense of home is not quite there yet. That brand of warm coziness will take a few more months to come, I’m sure. The thing is: we’re heading there.

Today is also the day that The Youngster tries out a longer day at preschool. This means he’ll attempt to nap with the other kids that stay past lunch. I’m hoping for good things there, especially after reading this story in the NYT about the complexities of children’s naps. It’s a science, y’all.

So before I head off to a lunch date with myself (yessssss!), I thought I’d leave you with a few good things … budding flowers, vistas, healthy kiddie appetites, colorful fall scarves, love, and leveling the playing field. Definitely leave a note below with what’s good on your side of town.

Have a great weekend, friends. See you next week, yes?
