Remembering and Honoring a Dreamer

Monday, January 16, 2012

Remembering, honoring, respecting on Martin Luther King Day 2012. Wishing us all the courage and conviction to be dreamers.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.’… I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.”
~ Martin Luther King, Jr., I Have A Dream, 1963

      Ms. Mary Mack says:

Agreed, Lucy. Reading the speech is strong, but watching and listening to the power and commitment in Dr. King’s voice as he delivers it? That will do you in. Every time.

      Thanks for the comment.
